it's been wonderful seeing how everyone improved tremendously. it's amazing how all my teammates have gone on to improve their skills and fighting spirit. my juniors once again showed me that age is not a barrier, that you can learn something from everyone. my seniors came back to train us and kept the fire in us burning. my capt gave us hope, held our hands as we stepped forth to fight in the matches together, keeping the spirits up. defence put up a good fight, especially anna (who really really rocks) who keeps covering for me and saving the day just by being a reliable clear-er. all my seniors and teammates who showed immense faith in me by always fielding me in. this season, i'm glad i got to play with my wonderful teammates. we stood by each other and fought our hardest. i also want to thank hongli for standing in for me on last minute notice even though she never train for at least 3 months because i was sick and could barely breathe properly, much less play properly. to hongpei who analysed every match and came up with tactics, who gave us support by physically on the field and emotionally, who kept the spirits up and trained us even when ms chen said she couldn't. the team made it this far because of her and because of my seniors. to the current batch of seniors: hongpei hongli anna yisin yvette adeline sheila yinghong annie liying. (:

hcsoccergirls rocks. we've nothing to show for all our hard work this year, but we know deep inside that we've emerged better and stronger. like everyone said, there's still next year, and the year after and the year after after.

i continue to maintain that soccer's the best (and probably one good thing) to happen to me in hwachong.

Remember,this is only the beginning. Juniors, fight on! (:
