oh yes and there is this super cool and fun soccer event coming up! Created by events team KLAW, it is based on that taiwan food game show SHI ZI LU KOU and because we couldnt decide, it also incorporates some the amazing race.

the objectives are team bonding, foster spirit, blah blah and also to eat like pigs and have fun. so it goes like this. we have a 2 day, 1 night camp in school, then on the first day we dump our stuff in schl in the morning, then go play this game which will last about half a day.

there is a predetermined list of 7 damn good food items, which are located all over singapore. so we will split into 3 teams, and run around the island eating all of the dishes in a particular order. the exact order will be determined by drawing lots on the day it self. and the first one to eat finish all, wins!

the 7 items include Tauhuay, nasi lemak, orluak, bak chor mee, some chinese dessert thing, chye tau kuay, and the 7th i cant rmb. but its not just any bak chor mee! it has to be the jurong bak chor mee. and the whatever-nasi lemak and wherever-orluak. so thats why we have to run around the island. we will take pics of the exact stalls.

after drawing lots in a highly secretive location, the 3 teams are as follows:

it's been wonderful seeing how everyone improved tremendously. it's amazing how all my teammates have gone on to improve their skills and fighting spirit. my juniors once again showed me that age is not a barrier, that you can learn something from everyone. my seniors came back to train us and kept the fire in us burning. my capt gave us hope, held our hands as we stepped forth to fight in the matches together, keeping the spirits up. defence put up a good fight, especially anna (who really really rocks) who keeps covering for me and saving the day just by being a reliable clear-er. all my seniors and teammates who showed immense faith in me by always fielding me in. this season, i'm glad i got to play with my wonderful teammates. we stood by each other and fought our hardest. i also want to thank hongli for standing in for me on last minute notice even though she never train for at least 3 months because i was sick and could barely breathe properly, much less play properly. to hongpei who analysed every match and came up with tactics, who gave us support by physically on the field and emotionally, who kept the spirits up and trained us even when ms chen said she couldn't. the team made it this far because of her and because of my seniors. to the current batch of seniors: hongpei hongli anna yisin yvette adeline sheila yinghong annie liying. (:

hcsoccergirls rocks. we've nothing to show for all our hard work this year, but we know deep inside that we've emerged better and stronger. like everyone said, there's still next year, and the year after and the year after after.

i continue to maintain that soccer's the best (and probably one good thing) to happen to me in hwachong.

Remember,this is only the beginning. Juniors, fight on! (:

these past few months of hard work
though extremely tiring

anw in the wee hours of the morning after designing the blog, i wanted to say this:

vj had won rj. the sour taste of defeat had come crashing down on me again. and by the time u all see this, yes you all wld haf realised today's game is not crucial at all.. yah.. shall nt elaborate on why. but yah, planning to kp the score under wraps? coz dont want affect team morale? hope team doesnt give up..

then i decided i was too tired. 30 mins more to setoff for sch, so i'd better slp. anw i was confirm playing match today. and as usual, my sis rebuked me for nt slping. its seriously qt stupid to do dat b4 a match day.. yah but yea, this blog's for liying! =D and i'm sorry gals i closed the blog for a moment..

well everythings mostly concluded. its mostly back to the normal pace of life.. trngs and the sinking in of reality. today i'm sure everyone tried their best.. ESP joey and CS. dont know abt wad other ppl think, but personally i feel yeah, they tried really well, joey yep, sorry i kindof exceeded my sms so cldnt reply you, but no, u played realli well, the score cld haf been 10-0 w/o u. CS too..but seriously, both of u dont feel sad kz? AND BTW cs PLS TAKE CARE OF URSELF!!! anw today's match was alrite to most of us i guess.. cos even tho there's no this year, there's still next year, the year after the next and next next next etc year. we'll kp on trying for our jnrs until we're old.. cos there's only one aim..

anw back to the apologies.. sending me in match today without 3 months of trng as left back was like throwing the kamekazee 6 to fight in AMK GRC. i seriously thought i was probably gg to die.. but i was hinging on my relationship with my sister for 18 years (wow tts really long), i was clinging on tt only. so, sorry sorry sorry for the mistakes i made, and the backs who had to supt me esp esp annie, i'm realli sorry gal. yah.. its really my fault lor.. but well no blaming, we all tried our best!
